In 1967, Filmation packaged The New Adventures of Superman, which premiered the year before, with new episodes of Aquaman, to form The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. The program consisted of 7-minute adventures shown in separate segments featuring The New Adventures of Superman, The Adventures of Superboy and Aquaman, alongside a rotating lineup of heroes—limited to three episodes each—including The Flash, Hawkman, Green Lantern, The Atom, Teen Titans and Justice League of America. This format lasted for one season, after which Aquaman got a self-titled show and Superman shared the spotlight with Batman in The Batman/Superman Hour.
